Clear & Productivity
· Thibault
At Realmac Software, we strive towards making apps that are useful: we create tools that we want to use and put a lot of effort in every aspect of our products. With Clear, we wanted to create a simple way to jot down thoughts and tasks without losing any time. The idea was to note those items and get to work quickly.
We recently launched an email course around Clear to share our own productivity tips, and today I'd like to share some of the general ideas behind it.

Less Distractions
It's easy to be interrupted by always-on connectivity and real-time notifications. Try to focus on one thing at a time and cut anything that's in your way. Most of the time, those notifications are probably not emergencies.
Daily
Try to set yourself a simple daily routine to stay organised: how about looking at what you want to achieve today? Why not try to outline what you have done and what you need to do at the beginning and end of each day, to keep everything in check?
Productivity as a team
Between meetings and waiting on a response from a co-worker, it can be daunting to work with different people sometimes. However with some simple tricks you can avoid most of the clutter and keep your eyes on the milestone that you're all working towards.
One simple way to take care of this is to make sure you prioritise your tasks depending on when you need it, how important it is, and if anyone else is waiting on you . Another example: if you have long meeting, try to prepare the things you want to say or ask, and tell your coworkers to do so as well: being ready will be the best way to stick to a quick meeting and get back to work rapidly.
Health
Finally, I would highly recommend getting into healthy habits. Getting enough sleep, eating right and making sure you're generally in good shape are simple things that can improve your focus quite a lot.
