Meet the newest member of the Ember family

Ever since we launched Ember for Mac back in July, we’ve been hard at work adding new features - the Smart Drawing, Colours, and iCloud sync. With Ember now using iCloud, we’ve been working on the next-most-requested feature, and something that we’ve wanted for an incredibly long time: Ember for iOS, which will be arriving in December. Ember for iOS allows you to add images from your iPhone and iPad to your library, take photos of things that inspire you, and organise your library on the go.

Ember for iOS will be a free Universal app requiring iOS 7. In the coming months, we’ll be adding annotations and other features as In-App Purchases, however the ability to view and organise your Ember library will always be available for free.
We’ve been using Ember for iOS and Mac for a while now, and it’s been absolutely invaluable to the team. The term “magical” may be overused, but the experience of having our personal (in many cases, multi-gigabyte) libraries available on all our devices has truly been, well, magical. We can’t wait to see what you do with Ember for iOS, so visit the Ember teaser page to learn more and be the first to know when Ember for iOS is available.
