Typed for Mac is here!
· Dan
I’m thrilled to announce that Typed is now available. Typed is our brand-new writing app for the Mac, and the first that improves your concentration with its unique Zen Mode. Zen Mode not only minimises the distractions as you write, it also plays one of the six built-in calming soundtracks that helps you focus.
While we think Typed is great for any kind of writing, it’s designed to make writing for the web incredibly easy. We’ve built in support for Markdown, the most popular way to write for the web, and Typed offers full syntax highlighting as you write. Typed also comes with a full complement of keyboard shortcuts - there’s nothing worse for your focus than having to dive for the mouse or trackpad mid-sentence.
The Realmac team writes a lot and we’ve been making sure that Typed provides something truly unique and helpful to our writing process. As with all our apps, Typed is a product we’ve built to help everyone be a better writer, based on our own experience (and that of our awesome testers, many of whom are professional writers and journalists).
I hope you’ll visit the new Typed homepage and download the demo. You can buy a full license for Typed from the Realmac Store, and it’s on sale today with special launch pricing of $19.99 - regular price $24.99.
